Paulette has a special interest in early childhood development. She specializes in infant-parent psychotherapy, play-therapy, and family therapy. She is also certified as an Infant Massage Instructor. She has been trained in Depth Psychology and is currently researching the emotional significance of touch in early development. She enjoys working with families on parenting issues and strengthening family attachment through the power of play.

Nancy has a wealth of experience and compassion. Her focus is on treating children, teens, and adults who have experienced grief or trauma. She specializes in treating sexual abuse and domestic violence survivors, and she has a special interest in working with foster and adopted children with attachment issues. She utilizes various treatment modalities, which include: sandtray, EMDR and family play therapy. She has been working with families and in local schools in Santa Maria for over twenty years.

Skip works with adults and families but has a special interest in working with school age and adolescent children with behavior problems including ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. His approach relies on cognitive behavioral methods that include working closely with parents and teachers. Patricia is both bilingual and bicultural. She works primarily with Spanish speaking families on parenting skills, marital concerns, and acculturation issues. She utilizes a combination of treatment approaches, including: sandtray, play therapy, EMDR, and family therapy.

Amanda de la Garza
Amanda has been practicing Yoga since 1992, and she received her yoga teacher certification from the Santa Barbara Yoga Center in 2004. She continues to work toward the 200-hour certification level, recently completing such courses as "Yoganesha: Teaching Yoga for Children" and "Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training." Amanda has been teaching yoga to children at Santa Maria's Children's House Montessori School for almost two years. Her teaching style is challenging and nurturing, helping students let go of their painful, inefficient physical and mental patterns and exploring their unknown potential through a prescribed series of movements. Her friendliness and sense of humor will make even the most hesitant yogis look forward to class.
