The Little Village provides an array of counseling services designed to
meet the unique needs of children and their families. The Little Village
houses a group of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists with a variety
of specialties. Services offered include: family therapy, play therapy,
infant-parent psychotherapy, couple counseling, EMDR, parenting guidance,
and individual and group counseling for both children and adults.
Therapists at The Little Village are equipped to treat a variety of childhood and family problems, and are trained in multiple modalities ranging from play therapy to cognitive behavioral therapy.
The Little Village features a therapeutic playroom for children, which includes toys, art supplies, and sand to allow children to explore feelings through play, “the child’s language.”
The Little Village is a privately owned for-profit business. All licensed therapists located at The Little Village are sole proprietors.

The Little Village is located in a historic 1923 Craftsman style home in one of the original neighborhoods in Santa Maria. Conducting counseling in a home environment allows children and families to feel safe and comfortable during the therapy process.
